Questions, orders, arrivals. We’re here.
If a box arrived warm, lead with that—those go to the front of the line.
Good questions, straight answers.
The things people ask before their first box—and a few they ask after.
Ordering & shipping
How is my meat shipped?
Frozen, start to finish. Every order is packed in an insulated shipper with refrigerant by our cold-chain fulfillment partner and leaves within 3–5 business days. You’ll get a tracking email the moment it ships, and we time departures so your box spends as little time in transit as possible.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes—five pouches, in any mix. Fill the box with one favorite or spread it across all four proteins.
Where do you ship?
Across the contiguous United States. A small number of remote ZIP codes that need more than three days in transit are paused at checkout until we can offer a faster option. If yours is one of them, send us a note and we’ll let you know when it opens up.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your location and the size of your box. Frozen shipping isn’t cheap, so we’d rather you build a fuller box than pay for air.
Arrival & storage
What should my box look like when it arrives?
Frozen or partly frozen with ice crystals—at the very least refrigerator-cold to the touch. Some softening around the edges is normal after a day in transit. Move the pouches straight to the freezer, or to the fridge if you’re cooking within a few days.
How long can I store the meat?
Keep it frozen and it keeps until the best-by date printed on the pouch. Once a pouch has thawed in the refrigerator, use it within a few days and don’t refreeze it.
What if there is a problem with the meat?
Tell us within 24 hours of delivery—use the form above and choose “Arrival issue.” Include your order number and when the box arrived, and keep a photo of the contents handy—we’ll ask for it when we reply. If a box arrived warm or a pouch was damaged, we’ll replace it or refund it. Please don’t eat anything that arrived warm.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Because our proteins are perishable, we can’t take returns or exchanges. What we can do is make it right: if your order arrives late, warm, or damaged, or something is missing, contact us and we’ll send a replacement or issue a refund.
Preparation
How do I heat it?
Everything is fully cooked, so you’re only warming it through.
Stove top (recommended): preheat a skillet to medium-high, empty the pouch into the pan, and heat for 2 minutes or until heated thoroughly, tossing occasionally.
Microwave: set the pouch on a microwave-safe dish, pierce the top several times to vent, and heat on HIGH for 3 to 4 minutes or until hot. Let it rest for 1 minute.
Overcooking will toughen the meat. The full instructions live on the Preparation & storage page.
Do I need to thaw it first?
No. You can heat straight from the freezer—just make sure it’s hot all the way through before serving. If you’d rather thaw, do it overnight in the refrigerator, never on the counter.
How many does a pouch serve?
Each pouch holds 15 ounces of fully cooked protein—dinner for two to three once you add sides, or a very good night for one with leftovers.
Where can I find ingredients and allergens?
On every pouch—ingredients, allergens, and Nutrition Facts are printed on the label. Ingredients and allergens are also listed on each protein’s card when you build your menu. Need the full nutrition panel before you order? Send us a message and we’ll share it for any protein.
Scheduling & changes
Can I get deliveries on a schedule?
Yes. When you build your menu, choose a frequency—one-time or recurring—and every protein in that order follows it. Skip a delivery, swap proteins, pause, or cancel any time from your account.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If it hasn’t shipped yet, usually—message us right away with your order number. Once a frozen shipment has left the warehouse it can’t be rerouted or recalled, so the sooner the better.
Ready when you are.
